There’s no place like Alaska. I have lived here for over thirty years, first arriving on New Year’s Eve, 1978. Initially, I lived in Anchorage.  I then moved to Kodiak but returned to Anchorage in 2009 in order to be closer to my children. I am proud to have represented Kodiak, first as mayor of the Kodiak Island Borough, from 2001 to 2004, and then in the State House from 2005 to 2009. I worked hard for the people of Kodiak, and I will work just as hard for the Anchorage families who reside in Alaska State House District 13.

I believe that in order to represent people, you have to know them. I am making it my mission to go door to door to meet my neighbors, listen to them, and learn about what I can do to help. You deserve an honest, committed state representative who will work hard to make Muldoon and Elmendorf a great place to live and work. I look forward to meeting more of my neighbors over the next year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

In Alaska, we have a great responsibility on our hands to promote and protect our people, our land, and our prosperity. District 13 has a lot of room to thrive. Let’s Rise to the Challenge and make our community an even better place to live, work, and play.
